The Warther Cutlery 5" Serrated Tomato Knife has a patented serrated edge to the knife. The edge has a large scalloped edge to it, with fine teeth inside each scallop, designed to stay sharp longer, since they are protected by the larger scalloped teeth.
This knife is great for slicing tomatoes because the edge will not smash or squash the tomato, like some knives do.
This knife is also great for cutting grapefruit, or bagels.
